Why “The Blog”

It struck to me a few days back ,I have dedicated a big chunk of my life (the past 7 years) for travelling. I can also vouch I have enjoyed every aspect of it. The planning, the research, the bookings, the actual travel ,even the uncomfortable parts of the trips. I have now travelled 22 countries and I am just getting started.

To be a full fledged engineer takes 22 years  in India. This includes just the study part. To complete the series of packages Pre-school, high school, college and bachelors study . So it took 23 years for me to realize I love travelling more than anything in life. From my first major solo bike trip to ladakh in India, my life hasn’t been the same. Well I always knew there was this part within me which craved new experiences, different food, different cultures ,basically the whole world that I had not yet experienced. The Himalayan range gave a meaning to this desire and a clear perspective why I should chase this desire . I believed it was my purpose. Solitude in nature brings out the best part in everyone and guides them through the chaos of life. And guess what I wanted more of this.

Working in IT with option to work remotely has been an added advantage for travelling. It took me a good deal of effort to find a job I like which supports my passion for travelling. I have lived 25 years of my life in India and 5 years in Sweden so far. Being an Indian I was born with the notion nothing is better than India and I still believe that to be true. Although, I am starting to realize earth is a big place with lots of different geographies and every part has its own essence.

Considering my travel urge and a bit of an experience I think it is time for me to narrate my experiences going forward and reflect on those few major travel experiences. This is how I think I can grow as an Individual . Every adventure brings new perspectives to life. Reflection is a great way to acknowledge this change to bring the best parts of the learning into practice.
